Microsoft CEO: EQ Trumps IQ In the Long Run

According to Microsoft's CEO, emotional quotient trumps IQ. I'm sure you guys will remember this quote when someone with an IQ of 68 gets turned down for an engineering job in Redmond.

Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella quoted Mahatma Gandhi to tell students today, "Live everyday as if it is your last day but learn as if you are going to live forever." He also said that, "In the long run, EQ (emotional quotient) trumps IQ (intelligence quotient). Without being a source of energy for others very little can be accomplished."

Fear And Anxiety Accompany Forced Internet Unplugging

Fear and anxiety? Yeah, that sounds like me every time the internet goes out. wink

It's fairly common knowledge that Americans have a serious dependency on the Internet. But according to a new report released today by Tata Communications, that dependency is accompanied by some intense psychological and physical repercussions.

Dead Rising Movie Will Be Like Indiana Jones With Zombies

Indiana Jones with Zombies could be the worst idea I've ever heard...or pure genius. big grin

"It's definitely got its dark scary beats, but ultimately it's an adventure film," Lipovsky said. "Every time I get scared or laugh while playing, I make a note to add it to the script. Tonally it will be like 'Indiana Jones with Zombies'. Fun, scary, dramatic action."

Four Hackers Stole $100M In Army And Xbox Technology

Oh come on, $100 million? It's not like they were illegally downloading movies or music. wink

According to prosecutors, the defendants stole intellectual property and other proprietary data related to the Xbox One gaming console and Xbox Live online gaming system, and pre-release copies of popular video games. The Department of Justice (DoJ) claimed the technology was worth between $100m and $200m, a figure hotly disputed by one of those facing charges.

iOS 8 Bug Can Delete iCloud Drive Documents

I can hear the Apple representative now..."You're resetting it wrong." big grin

Tapping the option to Reset All Settings vaporizes some iCloud Drive files, say a handful of iOS users. An alleged bug in iOS 8 appears to be deleting documents stored in iCloud Drive without the user's permission.

XFX R7 250E Video Card

If you need a budget video card, check out this review of the XFX R7 250E at Overclockers Club today.

When you go to play in the wheel house it fits in, you can get performance up and over the commonly recognized 30 FPS threshold for playable performance at 1920x1080, or even higher at 1680x1050. When you get down to its DNA, this card has its roots in the 2012 release of AMD's Cape Verde Pro GCN architecture and is comparable to the HD 7750 seen at that time.

Reporter Goes To Apple Store To Bend An iPhone

This is kind of a dick move if you ask me. Seriously people, don't be a jackass, if you want to bend an iPhone 6, buy one.

At this point I thought it best to leave the store. Did I feel bad about bending it a bit? Not really others were trying, and I walked past a person attempting the same thing on the way to the exit. If they made me buy the phone, there would have been worse tragedies.
