GIGABYTE GTX 980 Ti G1 GAMING Video Card Review
Today we review a custom built retail factory overclocked GIGABYTE GTX 980 Ti G1 GAMING video card. This video card is built to overclock in every way. We'll take this video card, compare it to the AMD Radeon R9 Fury X and overclock the GIGABYTE GTX 980 Ti G1 GAMING to its highest potential. The overclocking potential is amazing.
We evaluate what each video card configuration can supply us in terms of a playable gaming experience while supplying the best culmination of resolution and "eye candy" graphical settings. We focus on quality and immersion of the gameplay experience rather than how many frames per second the card can get in a canned benchmark or prerecorded timedemo situation that often do not represent real gameplay like you would experience at home. Then we will follow with apples-to-apples testing in with minimum, maximum, and average framerates.
For the GIGABYTE GTX 980 Ti G1 GAMING we are using GeForce 353.62 WHQL.
For the AMD Radeon R9 Fury X we are using Catalyst 15.7.1.
All driver control panel options are at default values, we are using the latest game patches at this time.
